Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, aims for Cakung Regional Hospital to start operating by the end of 2026.

"The hospital should be operational next year," he expressed, on his personal Instagram account, Friday (4/18).
He also emphasized the importance of rebranding the hospital to bring new hope to Jakartans.

He hoped that this could be presented as a modern hospital to build public trust in its medical services. It highlights the negative perceptions that have been associated with the hospital due to its location in a densely populated area.
Therefore, he urged the Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes) to transform Cakung Regional Hospital into a specialty hospital that can become a source of pride for the residents.
"I hope after the rebranding, this hospital will no longer be referred to just as a public hospital, but will have specific advantages that make it stand out. So, we will fully support it," he stated.
